Firstly, the dreaded exams are finally over! It lasted for almost a month, one of the longest exams in my life >.> What a big difference from Form 3 to Form 4, but I don't think I'll be able to get used to it soon.

I don't think I did well as I wanted to. There are some papers where I'm really mad at myself because I make the most careless mistakes ever. Well, I guess that's the reason why my dad calls me 'Miss Careless' ever since I was a child. Focus, focus! Results should probably be coming out tomorrow, mixed feelings ><

So, today. Walking out from school, I go to where my mom normally parks her car. And there she is, with this little pet in her hand.


It's called a sugar glider! And my mom named it Akira, my mom's awesome for giving it a Japanese name. He's now a month old and very very adorable.

But, I've been thinking. I've seen discussions around the internet saying how wrong it is to rear an animal that belongs to the wild and wasn't meant to live with people. I do ask myself if I'm doing the right thing. I guess I'll just take really good care of Akira and make him a sweet sugar glider (intended pun =P) Besides, my mom has asthma so she doesn't really go near pets. But she is really fond of Akira ever since the first time she saw her, so I'm glad that she gets to hold and love a pet in such a long time, since she can't play with my dog, Justin, because of his fur. I'll upload a picture of him some other time too! He's the most unique dog ever.

Now, I'm off to do plenty of catching up on Arashi and my animes!

How's life world.

When people tell you 'the F word', the first words that come to my mind has nothing to do with the actual 'F word', instead, I think of family and friends. Can you tell I'm trying to attempt a joke but am mercilessly failing? xD

I turned 15 today and I believe that I am still far from adulthood, but I'd like to think that I'm slowly, but surely, learning how to stand on my own two feet. However today, I feel extremely blessed that I'm surrounded by such loving members of my family and such great friends. From the wishes, the singing, the presents, the cake, the food, the venue, the caught-off-guard party to just simply being able to be around such precious people in my life had me at the peak of joy which cannot possibly be expressed in words. It's a feeling that anybody would treasure wholeheartedly. Like the subject title, the events of today have already been engraved deep into the depths of my mind.

I can never thank you enough, guys. This has definitely been a great birthday and I can't ask for more. It means a lot to me.

Okay, I have got no idea why I'm in the mood to write poems lately. Posting it for fun, to make my journal seem less dead =D And it's got a lame title : Song of Dreams

Strum the string of inspiration,

I had to write a poem for school work which I haven't done in a really long time. While lying on my bed and picking the right words in my head, this is what I've came up with. I'm actually quite pleased with it =D


If talents and personalities were measured in pots,
You’ll find that there is a cracked pot in everybody.
Humans are naïve beings and we misunderstand far too often,
That is why we become ashamed of that crack in our pot.

If we, humans, want to be accepted as who we are,
Then undoubtedly, so does the cracked pot.
Maybe we should get rid of all the shame
And begin to love and treasure the crack in the pot.

Because if you start looking at things differently
And stop trying to change who you are,
You’ll begin to appreciate your flaws as a part of you.
Then maybe one day, you’ll realize that,
Sometimes, it is in the imperfections that perfection lies.
